Development recruiters frequently use Devex to discover qualified candidates. Ensuring that your profile is complete, updated, and includes your CV is essential for showcasing your professional identity, values, and interests to recruiters. To simplify this process for you, we've combined profile updates and CV uploads into a three-step process.
- Log in to your Devex profile.
- Click on Update my profile from the
Devex user menu.
- Click the Upload CV button or use this link to upload your CV. This button will appear at the top of your profile if you have incomplete profile information, especially in employment history.
Step 1: Upload your CV
Fill out your CV name and click the Choose File button to upload your CV file. Then, click the Next button below to continue.
Tips:
- Make sure that your uploaded CVs are updated and that you use file names that would make it easy for recruiters to search. Since you may upload several CVs, consider tailoring them according to the job you’re applying for and to highlight your specialization. Remember to aptly name each file too, e.g., Monitoring and Evaluation_Jane Doe.
- The only acceptable file formats for documents are PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, or ODT.
- Each upload should not exceed 3 MB in size.
Step 2: Review and Save Details
If you have existing information saved on your profile, you'll see it on this page along with the data we've gathered from your uploaded CV. Ensure that all required fields are filled out before clicking Save. You can edit or delete the entries with incomplete information, or add new entries. To quickly navigate to a specific profile section, use the shortcut links on the right bar of the page. When you're ready to proceed, click Save.
Step 3: View your profile
After saving your profile details, you will be redirected back to your profile page. Click on the View My Profile button located in the upper right corner of the page. This will display how your Devex profile appears to recruiters. To manage the visibility of your profile, refer to this article.
