Devex gives you access to a wealth of resources, news, jobs, and business insights across the global development sector. To ensure you can focus on the development news, jobs or business information that you need, you can set up alerts or select specific newsletters that are focussed on your objectives and interests.
This article gives you a brief overview of the different types of newsletters and alerts that you can subscribe to, and how to do so.
1. Managing your newsletter subscriptions
- Log in to your Devex account.
- Click the User Menu in the top-right corner of the homepage.
- Select Manage Newsletters from the drop-down menu.
Below is a list of Devex newsletters, what they cover and how often they are released.

2. Creating jobs alerts
If you are searching for your next job or just want to keep an eye on what opportunities are out there, it may be useful to set up job alerts. In doing so, new jobs that match your skills and interests will be sent directly to your inbox.
To create job alerts, follow these easy steps:
- Go to the jobs board
- Use keywords and job filters to refine the list of open positions
- Click on Alerts button
You will then have the option of receiving your alert(s) on a daily or weekly basis. More detailed instructions on how to enhance your search can be found here.

3. Creating business alerts
Members can use business alerts to receive funding opportunities and funding news of relevance directly to their inbox. The goal of Devex's business development resources is to improve the efficiency of professionals working in international development, and setting up effective business alerts is key to achieving this.
You can create funding alerts by following these steps:
- Go to the funding search
- Use keywords and filters to refine the list of results
- Click on Create Alert
